1. Introduction
Press Clay Studio is a private creative archive and documentation platform for ceramic artists. It helps users organize ceramic projects, upload process photos, save studio notes, record clay bodies and glaze details, track stages, preserve firing information, and build a searchable record of their creative practice.
These Terms are intended to protect both the users who trust the platform with their creative records and Press Clay Studio as the provider of the service.
By using Press Clay Studio, creating an account, joining Free Studio, subscribing to Studio Plus, uploading content, or accessing the Member Studio, you agree to these Terms.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using Press Clay Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the platform.
If you use Press Clay Studio on behalf of a business, studio, school, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that entity.
3. What Press Clay Studio Is
Press Clay Studio is an online platform for ceramic artists to document, organize, archive, and reflect on their creative work.
The platform may include features for:
- creating ceramic project records
- uploading process and final photos
- saving sketches, references, and notes
- recording clay body information
- recording glaze information
- tracking project stages
- recording kiln and firing notes
- saving reflections and next steps
- searching studio records

- managing Free Studio and Studio Plus memberships
Press Clay Studio is a creative documentation tool. It is not a public social media platform unless a future feature clearly allows users to intentionally share content.
4. Who May Use the Platform
Press Clay Studio is not intended for children under 13.
By using Press Clay Studio, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the platform only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Paid Studio Plus subscriptions should only be purchased by users who are legally able to enter into payment agreements or by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult.
5. Accounts and Account Security
To use certain features, you may need to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- keeping your password secure
- activity that occurs under your account
- notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
Press Clay Studio is not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your account credentials.
6. Membership Plans
Press Clay Studio may offer free and paid membership plans.
Free Studio may include limited access to project records, photos, notes, exports, and other features.
Studio Plus may include expanded features, such as additional or unlimited project records, additional photos, additional notes, advanced search, unwatermarked exports, backup or recovery features, or other paid tools.
Specific plan limits and features may be shown on the Membership page, signup page, checkout page, or inside the account area.
We may update plan features over time. If we make material changes to paid features, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate those changes.
7. Studio Plus Billing and Stripe
Studio Plus is a paid subscription membership.
Payments are processed through Stripe.
Press Clay Studio does not store your full credit card number, debit card number, or complete payment credentials on our servers.
By subscribing to Studio Plus, you authorize recurring charges through Stripe according to the price, billing period, and terms shown at checkout.
Studio Plus currently may be offered as a monthly membership. If yearly or other billing options are added later, the checkout page must clearly show the billing period before purchase.
Stripe may process payment information according to its own terms, privacy policy, and security practices.
Press Clay Studio may receive limited billing-related information from Stripe, such as subscription status, payment confirmation, customer ID, subscription ID, renewal status, cancellation status, and limited payment method details if provided by Stripe.
8. Cancellation, Renewal, and Refunds
Studio Plus renews automatically unless it is canceled before the next billing date.
Users should be able to manage or cancel Studio Plus through the Account or Billing area when billing is available.
If the billing portal is not yet configured, contact [email protected] for cancellation requests.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund past charges unless required by law or specifically stated otherwise at checkout.
Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
If a payment fails, Press Clay Studio may limit, pause, or downgrade access to Studio Plus features until payment is resolved.
If a subscription is canceled, expires, or payment fails, the user's account may be moved to Free Studio or limited access depending on the current platform rules.
Press Clay Studio will not delete user content immediately after cancellation unless the user requests deletion or the account is terminated for a serious Terms violation. If plan limits affect access after downgrade, the product interface should explain that clearly.
9. User Content Ownership
Users keep ownership of the ceramic work, photographs, notes, sketches, glaze records, project records, firing notes, reflections, references, and other creative content they upload or create in Press Clay Studio.
Press Clay Studio does not claim ownership of user creative work.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of user creative content to Press Clay Studio.

This license does not give Press Clay Studio ownership of user creative work.
11. Private by Default
Press Clay Studio is designed as a private creative archive.
Studio records, uploaded images, project notes, glaze information, firing records, reflections, and archive content are private by default.
Press Clay Studio does not publish private studio records unless the user intentionally uses a sharing, export, public portfolio, or public-facing feature that clearly indicates the content will be shared.
If public sharing features are added in the future, the interface must clearly communicate when content is being made public or shared outside the user's private account.

17. Exports, Downloads, and Backups
Press Clay Studio may offer export, download, or backup features depending on the user's membership plan.
Users are responsible for keeping independent copies of important photos, records, notes, and creative files.
Press Clay Studio is not a replacement for the user's own backup system.
We work to provide a reliable creative archive, but no online platform can guarantee that stored content will never be lost, interrupted, corrupted, delayed, or unavailable.
Users should download or back up important records when available.
18. Data Loss and Service Reliability
Press Clay Studio will make reasonable efforts to operate a stable and reliable platform.
However, the service may experience downtime, bugs, interruptions, maintenance, third-party provider issues, data-sync problems, storage errors, or other technical issues.
Press Clay Studio does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or that every file or record will be permanently preserved without risk.
We take reliability seriously, but users should also keep their own backups of important work.
19. Account Suspension or Termination
Press Clay Studio may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if:
- the user violates these Terms
- payment fails or a subscription is canceled
- the account creates a security risk
- the user misuses the platform
- the user uploads prohibited content
- the user infringes another person's rights
- the user attempts unauthorized access
- continued access could harm users, the platform, or legal rights
- we are required to do so by law
When reasonable, Press Clay Studio may provide notice before suspension or termination.
In urgent cases involving security, legal risk, abuse, fraud, or harm, Press Clay Studio may act without advance notice.
20. Platform Changes and Availability
Press Clay Studio may update, improve, change, pause, remove, or discontinue features over time.
We may also update plan limits, membership features, design, storage rules, export options, and account tools.
If a material change affects paid Studio Plus features, we should make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.
We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

Press Clay Studio may rely on third-party services to operate the platform.
These may include:

- Stripe for billing and payments
- error monitoring tools, if enabled
- backup systems
Current service providers may include Stripe for payments and subscriptions, Cloudflare for hosting, security, DNS, site performance, Cloudflare D1 database storage, and Turnstile spam protection where enabled, and MailChannels for transactional or support-related email delivery.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability.
Press Clay Studio is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, but it should use reasonable care when selecting service providers.
22. No Professional Advice
Press Clay Studio is a documentation and archive tool.
The platform does not provide legal, financial, tax, business, chemical, kiln-safety, firing, glaze-formulation, materials, studio-safety, or professional advice.
Any studio notes, glaze notes, firing records, clay body details, kiln notes, or process information saved by users are user-generated records.
Users are responsible for making their own safety decisions and consulting qualified professionals, instructors, manufacturers, kiln technicians, material safety data sheets, or other reliable resources when needed.
Do not use Press Clay Studio as the sole source for kiln operation, glaze safety, food safety, chemical handling, or studio safety decisions.

Some users may have rights based on where they live that cannot be waived by these Terms.
Georgia law does not eliminate user rights in other states or countries where those rights cannot be waived.
27. Location-Based Rights
Because Press Clay Studio is an online platform, users may access it from Georgia, other U.S. states, or outside the United States.
Certain consumer, subscription, privacy, cancellation, or digital-service rights may vary depending on where a user lives.
